THE PERFORMANCE OF CUDDALORE MINOR PORTS IN TAMIL NADU
Abstract
The present study product of petroleum Oil Corporation limited. The stake holds is part of Nagarjuna fertilizer and chemical plants to diversify from fertilizer to the oil industry. The remaining stakes in the project are held by petroleum of Minor Port. Cuddalore port infrastructure development works are in progress to convert as a deep water, direct berthing port (Extension of breakwater, construction of wharf capital dredging of the channel) under Sagarmala coastal berth scheme with the financial assistance from government of India . Hence, the researcher conclude that the government of Tamil Nadu established separate fertilizer and petroleum handling berth with competing price in all minor ports and also it need independency for improvement of Cuddalore Minor Ports in Tamil Nadu.
