Abstract
Federalism can be alluded as a form of government that encompasses a division of power between the centre and other units of states. Fiscal federalism hits a snag as there is supreme domination of the centre on other units. The coercion on state imposed by the centre to heed is being perceived recurrently. Excessive exertion of dominance by the centre has made federalism fade away. This paper analyses the views regarding the federalism in the country.
